これはいったいどんな意味なんだろう？殺伐とした都会の生活と対極にあるものを目指そうというのだろうか？
I don’t understand what is it trying to say. Japanese words means “city of human” as it is. What is it? Of course many cities around the world have been realized by humankind. However, livin’ in the city, as Stevie Wonder sang, sometimes it’s very hard to endure, and the billboard may say help each other though. It is hard to understand.

ようやく止んだ雨。が、夜半過ぎからまた降りだしている。
At last it stopped. But, it started again.

毎日毎日･･･いやになっちゃうよ

It was rain all day. I can’t believe its Aug. 15th today. Every year this memorial day esjpecially for Japanese has been very hot so far as I remember. Where are hot, muggy summer days going? Flowers in the rain look very fine.
敗戦記念日のきょう、一日中雨が降って、寒かった。近くの公園で咲いている花が素敵だった。

ヨーロッパでは猛暑だそうですが、きょうの東京は朝からすごーく涼しい一日、いや寒いといってもいい。この異常気象の余波で次男は風邪を通り越して気管支炎になってしまっている。心配だが本人は至って溌剌として、奇声を発したりして気分は悪くなさそう。しかし10月並のこの気温は、Jリーグの選手たちにとっては好都合でしょう。大体が冬のスポーツとして学生のころから過ごして、プロになっていきなり夏に試合かよ…と思うプレーヤーがいないはずない。
It is reportedly very hot in Europe, while Tokyo has very chilly today. This extraordinary climate made Kai catch bronchitis. He seems quite bouncing with shouting loudly at someone, though I’m worrying about. This cooler temperature is good for J-league players, however. In Japan, soccer is not winter sports at all. It has emerged as summer sports when J-League (Japan’s professional soccer league) has launched in 1993. Didn’t FIFA try to stop? It can kill player, very dangerous to play football in Summer.

きょうも夕方から駒沢公園プールへ。姪も一緒だったので車で行ったが、自転車で行くより時間がかかった。やはり駒プーは自転車に限る。駐車料金もかからないしね。
My niece, my older son, my wife and I went to Komazawa Olympic Pool by car. It took more time comparing to bicycle riding, though. No CO2 and no parking fee if you got bicycle.

今朝、PCが壊れた。いじれば、いじるほど状況は悪化して、最終的には出力がなくなったのだ。こういうことは初めてだったが、秋葉原に持ち込んで3時間、メモリーとハードディスク（20GB増量）交換で帰ってきた。保障期間だったので無料。ショップ・ブランドのモデルだが、なかなかアフター・サービスがいいところでよかった。株式公開したら買っておいたほうがいい（笑）

しかし、長男とともに出かけたので、パーツ・ショップを探索することもなく、ドトールでケーキ・セットを食べたり、アップル・ショップでG4をいじらせたりして過ごした（このサイトをアップルで見たら、すごくキレイに見えた）。電気街を放浪し相当疲労したのでセットアップは明日やることにした。帰ったら姪が来ていた。
The more I tried to fix it, the more things were going worse, and my PC has totally broken down this morning. No output at all. Most of data have gone. This was the first of its kind for me and I didn’t find out whether it caused by virus. I headed for Akihabara with my older son and the broken PC soon after lunch, yes, world famous electrical shopping town in Tokyo. The customer service department of the store which I bought that PC from took 3 hrs to examine it and changed memory-module and harddisc-drive (new one is 20GB larger) for free because of the warranty period. It was really great, wasn’t it? During our visit “Akiba”, my son and I went to coffee shop and Apple store to play with high priced PC, it was very beautiful to see this site on G4. It made me so tired, however. My niece came home.

きょうは夕方からプール。水温は28.5℃とかなり高めだったけれど、風がかなりあったので、水から出ていると寒く感じた。

In the evening my older son and I were in the Komazawa Olympic pool. Because of blowing a quite, I felt my upper half exposed in the air chill despite the water temperature was 28.5 ℃.

It was a muggy muggy day, today. My older son and I went to swimming pool in Komazawa Plympic Park. There were full of fathers and children crying out in joy. And soaking up with child seemed best way to cool down, I might say it was even a bit chilly. Summer days forever!
